German Shorthair Pointers - GSP
K bar T Ranch is the home of 5 GSP's. We had to put our Cocoa girl down in December of 2021 due to a tumor. Very sad around the ranch. However, we kept a new puppy from Duke and Dusty's last litter so have Duchess.
We learned quickly hunting with these dogs is an adventure and a good GPS tracking collar is a must.
A couple years later, Rick said, I really need two dogs, so I can hunt one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I found him "Brittany" on Craig's LIst. She was the runt and they were getting ready to take her to the pound. We are so glad we got her and took her for some "official" Training. It was well worth it, as she has not missed a retrieve since we got her back.
Couple more years and Rick has an itch for another puppy. he let me know he found one out of Idaho shorthairs. We had second pick for dusty and she has been a great dog.
In fact she was doing so well we said, "hey we should breed her". So our close Friend "Colton" at Lehmschlog Kennels, said he had a Male for us. Yup, that's how we got Duke.

Duchess - out of our 3rd litter
purebred female, 3-YEAR-OLD
Rick picked her out of the litter shortly have she was WHELPED Dusty wasn't even through whelping. He said, "we have to know if we grab anyone from the litter they will make a great hunting dog." She is tuRNing out to make that statement true. Still needs training, but naturally backed her dad, Duke, when hunting. she has her momma's long nose and will lock up 40 feet away. Duchess is having her first litter this year. We've mated her to "Kaiser" out of Lemhschlog Kennel.
Brittany:
Mix breed - GSP and Lab/Springer, 11 yrs old.
she makes every retrieve, long, short or in the water, Brit will bring back the bird. She is an even tempered little girl with soft fur she loves to be petted and will give lots of kisses.

AKC Registered GSP, Female 7 yrs old,.
our new mama had her first litter in May, 2019. She came to us via Idaho Shorthair's, and is a driven huntress with style and poise. A Pedigree of champion hunters on both sides we just need to get her some test time and she'll have initials behind her name too. she has a great loving personality and cuddles up with Rick on the bed every chance she gets.

Duke
AKC registered Male, 6 years old.
our sire, Duke comes out of LeHmschlog Kennels in Washington. He is serious about hunting and has the drive to find the birds. He's an independent hunter and prefers to work the areas where the girls have not been. He has a long range and Hungarian partridge and chucker seem to be his favorites to find.
